The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
