Large-scale Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Electricity Across Ukraine's Capital

Energy infrastructure targeted in the region
Ukraine's power facilities have faced escalating strikes in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while local people in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and dealt with disruption to water supplies, per reports from city officials.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a distinct Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, according to local officials.

Moscow has increased strikes on power infrastructure over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the America, the EU and the Group of Seven - in providing air defence systems and enforcing restrictions," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 missiles attacked energy facilities, describing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were striving to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes hit energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Multiple people injured in the strikes on the city have been taken to hospital, per statements from municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the metropolitan region experienced intense attacks overnight. A minor lost their life and several individuals were injured.

The strikes come after periods of bombing campaigns in the territory, parts of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to identify.

Government officials told journalists that Moscow was purposely seeking to damage the country's energy grid, with strikes already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

He said energy workers and authorities were preparing for additional strikes.
